The LP had absolutely 0 lasting appeal.  It was decent for a listen or two, but that was it for me

'cmon he made that band.

Some might think that's stupid or even ignorant to say (Not that I can talk). But it's true for me. I used to love Saosin starting with the first time "Bury Your Head" came on Fuse. That's the first time I had heard of them. I already liked Cove alot and then I learned about Anthony and what not. And you know where listening to Anthony brought me?

Here. Not with Saosin anymore, but here. Which means for me, it was all about him. At the time I didn't think that was the truth.

I still listen to saosin. I still listen to circa.

The only thing that pissed me off about the LP was the heavy use of Autotune, and the way the guitars were mixed.
No, I'm not the Gary you guys hate, In fact I'm someone completely different.

There are very few Saosin songs I still listen to now, and they are all from when Anthony was still the singer. Honestly, I think pretty much everything they've done since then is pretty cliché and overdone. The video for Voices didn't help at all, you can at least have some fucking creativity instead of practically re-doing the same video that's been done 100 times before.

And the drumming on TTN blows the drumming on the LP out of the water.

i really liked saosin a lot before the lp....bury your head was the first song i had ever heard  by them and i loved it and i eventually stumbled upon the rest of ttn and it was amazing...and that made me so hyped for the lp yet i was really dissapointed....and then i kinda found circa and thats pretty much all i listen to now....yet i still wanna see saosin in concert just because they seem like really cool dudes...with all that said, saosin has unfornuately gone downhill

I still like "I Wanna Hear Another Fast Song."  Then it got a little better with Sleepers (demo), then failed with the LP version

The first part of "Mookie's Last Christmas" and "Finding Home" sound almost the same. To me, at least.
Random, but I thought I'd mention that.

"Bury Your Head"= They fucked it up.
"IWHAFS/SLEEPERS"= They fucked it up.
"New Angel(Or w/e they had decided to call it, I can't remember now.)= They fucked it up.

And most of the other songs, excluding "Come Close" should be on a Disney Channel soundtrack.

Has anyone figured out why it has a parental advisory sticker on it?

Some Sense of Security is the only song I occasionally listen to

The DVD/CD?

Oh and once again. The really old demo of "Some Sense of Security" actually appealed to me more. Even though it wasn't as studio quality.

That's saying something to me by now. That's like 4 songs that are on the LP, but appealed to me way more when they were the versions before their album.

Oh yeah. If I correctly recall...yeah there is never mind. It has plenty of it. And a sex scene.

Jesus...Sometimes I wonder how a band that was at a point so talented; so amazing, and just turns into something completely different. I'm tired of bands trying to re-invent themselves. I know I'll get a lot of hate but this..But a majority of anyone who knew silverstein when they started would still like them now because they still sound the same. I'm not a big fan of them but I know some hardcore silverstein fan out there is happy knowing his favorite band kept their sound. I'm not against evolution nor creativity, but jesus, it pisses me off to see bands change their sound completely. Another crappy example is this...From first to last(lol) Personally; I've always hated the band. I only liked that one song, I don't even remember the name. But the crapfest that came after that album is just horrendous.

well I just realized i ranted and made no sense. I'm not saying saosin needed to sound the same as when anthony was in the band, But I think they really need to realize what they were best known for.
