I own both a pc and a mac. I barely us my pc unless I just want to get pictures, music, or videos that I don't have loaded on my mac. The main reason why I hear most people like pcs better then mac are because pc's are better for gaming. once i get enough money im gonna buy a g5. transfer all my files from my pc to it and most likely get rid of my pc.

Who gives a shit? I play world of warcraft on my Mac and it's fine, I just had to change the F1 and F2 keys because those are my contrast keys!

I've had my PC set up in the dining room so I can get extra nerd points by sitting next to someone while we both play WoW and I'm on it now and it feels all weird to me.. I keep hitting Alt+C instead of Cntrl+C because the buttons are all moved. It's also randomly deleted songs from iTunes, says they can't be found and it's not like I did anything with them. The only reason I haven't sold this PC for 100 bucks to someone is because my friend comes to my house and always ends up on Myspace for like 2 hours and neither me or my mom want her on our computers.

Oh and if you don't want to sacrifice your gaming experience for a mac you could always bootcamp windows.. Man I just feel like that makes Mac a really nice person who invites Windows over but Windows is a bitch and tries to backstab Mac all the time, and never invites him over.

WOW I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT

No man seriously the only change I found was that instead of control it's the apple button for everything. I just plugged in my tablet for use as a mouse and so I have right click without apple button. It's fantastic. So easyyy

People like Eric are the reason I don't come here anymore.

SPECS = PERFORMANCE
lol

How much is your PC worth when the OS can't even support half of it's functions. Even less than half a Mac.
shake harder, boy!

Lol what are you talking about... half then a mac ?  ?

XP can handle any function much better then OS X

and Vista is almost there.

if i didnt see that ever in my life i wouldve considered buying a mac, oh and yes dell does give you OS disk cannons dunno where you get that shit hole idea.

Also please tell me what you can do on a mac then a pc besides run OS X and have many different screens.
Amen !

Haha.

And by the way

Your not taking anything into consideration

Your talking about computer sales ? ? ? thats all thanks to the ipod.

Apple would have no money for releasing and designing new computers if it wasn't for the ipod which came out in 2001!

The computers in 2001 are nothing of what they are today.. and you have the ipod to thank for that.. with no ipod there would be no Apple.. it makes sense.

You are so so ignorant.
Wow, just stop talking.

Dude, windows can NOT multi thread like os x (ESP LEOPARD). I don't care how much knowledge you think you have about computers.
Lets see windows run iTunes better than os x.

While Vista is "almost there" (which it actually isnt. its a step down from XP.) Apple is releasing Leopard in a couple months, and Leopard is 2 steps above xp and vista combined.

Actually it's not. If IE will load, do some research for crying out loud.
Microsoft gave Apple a hand putting them back on their feet. Not the iPod which doesnt make any sense whatsoever.

I'm speaking the truth...

Maybe it's you who is the ignorant one ?

Well obviously software like itunes wont run as fast..
Because wait a second... isn't it apple software ? ? ? :OOOOO So it's obviously going to run faster on a mac does.

But I'm sure something oh i don't, converting files, uploading/downloading something on the internet, or even playing games would be a much different story.

Haha very funny. Too bad I don't use IE.. Firefox is king.

Haha thanks for the 10 year old news article but yes I'm very aware of that.. but what does apple with that money you ask ? Oh maybe start developing the ipod hmm that makes sense.
Which by the way they make like a 500% profit on each unit sold.

I cant believe you think a mac can multi thread like a PC that just seems crazy to me

What you obviously didn't read from above my friend has a Macbook pro... I've played on it for hours upon end.
and like I said.. it's not worth the 2000$ he paid for it..

It has a very similar processor to mine.. I have a 6400 he had the 6300 I think or something like that..
Ours both had 2 gig ram so pretty close..

Multi tasking wasn't even as close to as fast as my PC.. plus have you ever tried multi tasking on a Macbook Pro.. I had third degree burns on my lap by the time I was done using it.

Oh and here's a story for the kids.

He wanted me over so I could teach him how do download entire cd's.
It took me an over an hour and about 10 failed programs to find a working rar opener... since Win Rar did not work with it.

Finally I found a very unpopular one off the mac website that worked... but sadly it hardly had any other features besides opening a rar file, and you couldn't even drag and drop.
