i love the morning!! and i love sunrise so much. it's honestly my favorite part of the day. it's so serene. i love waking up early. it's the best!

I agree...but to me, sunrise is always best like, after a long night of drinking...when you're just finally starting to sober up, but you're still stumbling when you run outside arm in arm with a friend to watch the sky light up. Love that feeling.

I am the most opposite of a morning person in the entire universe.

I have missed so much school because I can't even bring myself to open my eyes in the morning. I am automatically in a terrible mood for the day if I have to wake up before 10. I just hate life in the morning, and only want to go back to sleep. I am way more of a night person.

Being a morning person would be really nice though, you would get a lot more done I would think.

alot of the time i get melancholy that the night is over, funs done.

Though one time i was at this tunnel party (abandoned train tunnel) that was held every year for like 8 years. (Codename : Galactic Substation) and i was way high on acid still. We were finally leaving, and it was getting light out. On the way down through the mountains it started to actually look like heaven, there was mist coming off the river and the sun was bouncing off of it. Me and everybody in the car were amazed.

majestic.

yeah sleep overs suck when you wake up earlier than all your friends. Well one of my friends is a night person and he usually gets up after 3. So it sucks waiting for him to get up just because he forgot how good breakfast tastes.

But yeah i'm def. going to be a morning person tomorrow. No class in tha morning!! woot~~

I classify myself as an all day person.
I wake up every morning at about 5:30 am but can be up until like 3am
I only need about 2 hours of sleep to be fully functionally.

Is it because you bike/exercise a lot? i remember you mentioning that you went on bike rides often.
I just went on a really great bike ride last night and i woke up way earlier than i normally do.
I heard that exercising before you sleep will give you more energy in the morning.

I haven't regularly needed an alarm clock to wake up in the morning in YEARS. I'm a huge morning person. About a month ago, me and two of my girlfriends would wake up at about 5:30 every month to go play tennis at the nearby highschool (it got too hot anytime past like, 7) When they would come to pick me up, I'd be all ready with poached eggs to-go for everyone. And I'd start talking like I'd been up for hours. Which most of the time lead to "yeah, I didn't really understand anything you just said" because they were half asleep. Haha.

HOWEVER, I will say that when I'm having to be woken up by an alarm or someone, I'm a HUGE grouch. The only reason I can call myself a morning person, is because I naturally wake up early.

I love everything about morning though. The smell of coffee, the smell of the air outside, all breakfast food, the way the sun hits everything.

Last night, I wasn't doing anything, and ended up falling asleep at 9, and felt like I had just run a marathon. haha. And just recently I told my manager that I think I do not as good a job when I have a night shift because I'm not as alert... so now I get mostly morning shifts.

I've heard that when you get enough exercise it can make you feel better rested and more alert through out the day. It could be true - just not true for me, as I said I ride my bike everywhere but I am still not a morning person.

However, I've also heard that exercising before bed, like you mentioned, makes it harder to fall asleep.

very true. Mostly that has to do with excursion though. For instance doing 20 or 30 push ups will keep you awake, but your not going to conk out. Coming back from a 10 mile hike... you get the idea. Morning is def best exercise time.

Well, yea but its not morning now. Usually am up at about 6am everyday since I have class at 8am.
Morning ritual includes some form of metal and coffee to get myself out of the house. Depending on where I'm comin from there might be a cig thrown in.
