the symbols on top of the lyrics are chords. such as "Gm" it is a chord with the root note being "G". I suggest you go to this site and look up the chords you see above the lyrics

http://www.chordbook...uitarchords.php

so for that Gm chord. You would look at the letter... and click on it.. and then find the symbol which in this case would be the little 'm'. and if that is too confusing for you, just go to google and search what it is and how to play it.

Watched Anthony play it during the soundcheck.

It's in D tuning, the chord progression for the intro and verse are

Am, C, Am/F, Dsus2

Pre-Chorus:
A 9sus4, A#, A
e|-x-| e|-x-| e|-x-|
b|-3-| b|-6-| b|-5-|
g|-4-| g|-7-| g|-6-|
d|-5-| d|-8-| d|-7-|
a|-x-| a|-x-| a|-x-|
e|-x-| e|-x-| e|-x-|
Chorus
Am, C, Em, G(m)

I'm pretty positive on all of this.

--
The chords I posted are relative to standard tuning. Just play those shapes in D tuning.

In the Daytrotter session they play in standard tuning.
I want my name to waltz right off of their tongues,
like a secret they can't keep.
