Doesn't sound quite right to me

same here, after playing it, it sounds close, but not perfect. ant probably throws in some fancy stringwork too, but i'm not sure if that's the only difference.

I think when the guy asked Anthony to play seven years, Anthony was being dead serious about everything he was saying, although everyone thought he was kidding?

has the lyrics to this song been posted on here yet?

I did em a while back, I'm not sure about the "write it in precise" line but whatever.

I would find a different way to say

You're gonna have to change everything you make.

You're gonna have to re-word every metaphor you'd used

So that people who are hearing are confused.

If that's the most important thing you do

detail every ounce of pain that you went through

make sure you leave something down to show the way back

make sure you leave something down to show the way back!

Every way you'll wonder if you're wrong

Every way you'll wonder if you're wrong!

Inaccurate and inprecise

There is no gift without a price.

I'm so mistaken, lost my direction.

My soul's been shaken, oh..

I would find a different way to go

There's no signs alight to guide you on that road

and if it's the most important thing you'll say

Make sure, they understand

Every way you'll wonder if you're wrong

Every way you'll wonder if you're wrong!

Inaccurate and inprecise

There is no gift without a price.

I'm so mistaken, lost my direction.

My soul's been shaken,

Every way you'll wonder if you're wrong

Every way you'll wonder if you're wrong

Inaccurate and inprecise

There is no gift without a price.

thanks nick! sounds about right, though I think he's singing "inaccurate and inprecise(d)" instead of "and I can write it in precise" :(

What I'm hearing from the Safecamp session version, in standard tuning

e |--8-----(0)-----------(0)----|
B |--8------3------6------3-----|
G |--9------5------5------5-----|
D |--10-----3------7------3-----|
A |--x-------------5------------|
E |--8--------------------------|

I'm not sure about the "I'm so mistaken..." part but I'm pretty sure it starts like this:

e |--8------8---------|
B |--5------8------3--|
G |--5------9------5--|
D |--7------10-----3--|
A |--0------x------5--|
E |--x------8---------|

Thats how I've been playing it a whole step down.

But is the safe camp version in standard or whole step down?

I love you

Hahaha thats basically the same thing I posted and you said it sounded wrong.

But yeah after he plays the

e 0

a 7

d 7

g 5

b x

e x

he then adds his index finger on the B string to the 7th fret and switches back and fourth from that. What Corbin posted is 10000000% right.

Heres another video that clearly shows it.

I just really love that little Martin he's got now.
