Song Challenge# 1

 

This idea borrowed from another forum is a great way too improve your production/writing skills!

 

I'll submit some rules that you have to follow for a song and maybe provide necessary samples you must incorporate into your music.

 

Then as everyone follows the guidelines and submit we vote for who we think did the best to adhering the rules.

 

The first challenge is going to be relatively open and pretty simple to follow.

Rules

 

1. You cannot exceed 1:00 and it you can't be any less than :57

 

2. You can use any means for creating it. (no instrument/production/genre restriction)

That's it.... easiest most open challenge we'll have so hop on and submit your songs!

 

Will leave this open for 2 weeks or so and then close and vote.

 

A minute is a world of time let's see how interesting this gets!!!!

I can't make up my mind on most unique because they are all pretty unique in their own ways.

Thanks for putting this all together, my 2-cents: If we're gonna vote for best production we should use something other than myspace since it automatically shit-ifies everything. I could even host the mp3s on my own website/server...

I think Myspace is great for music. Personally, it's purevolume I always thought shittified things. I think this is definitely good enough.

those rules last through all challenges because, sometimes it can mean more than others.

 

 

plus their is a lack of a constructive criticism for the first one but, wanna step it up and help by informing and evolving, the weaker qualities of their sound.
